We continue to study the topic of Substance Use and Abuse for our Health unit. The students have collaborated in defining what a drug is and categorized certain drugs as stimulants, depressants and hallucinogens. We have brainstormed the negative consequences of substance use and healthy alternatives to using it. The students were responsible for reflecting on certain bible verses, and connecting the overall theme within the bible verse to this topic.
